Dr. Syed M. Hasan is a board-certified psychiatrist and
psychopharmacologist. He serves the adult and geriatric patient population. He provides inpatient care in the mornings at the Behavioral Health Pavilion and private practice services for outpatients in the afternoon and evening hours. Dr. Hasan has over 10 years of patient care, education, research and administrative experience. He has vast experience of treating different psychiatric conditions including Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, Depression, Grief, OCD, PTSD, Panic disorder, Psychotic disorders and psychiatric issues related to different medical conditions and dementia. He has special expertise and interest in psychopharmacology, Geriatric psychiatry and treatment of patient with dual diagnosis. He uses pharmacotherapy, supportive therapy, cognitive and behavioral interventions, family education and motivational techniques to address complex issues related to different psychiatric disorders. Dr. Hasan is sensitive to individual patient needs and formulates personalized treatment plans.
